Health Alert: Argentina, Repatriation Flight Options On June 10

Health Alert: Argentina (June 4, 2020)

Event:  Aerolineas Argentinas has announced it will operate a flight from Buenos Aires to Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday, June 10, at 9:00 a.m. from Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza). U.S. citizens interested in departing on this flight will need to book directly with Aerolineas Argentinas (https://www.aerolineas.com.ar/). *The flight is subject to change.*

United has a direct flight from São Paulo to Houston scheduled to depart June 10 at 11:30 p.m. U.S. citizens interested in departing on this flight will need to book directly with United Airlines (https://www.united.com/en/us). *The flight is subject to change.*

These are not U.S. government-operated or funded flights. U.S. citizens are allowed to transit Sao Paulo, staying in the international terminal. Please visit U.S. Embassy Brasilia’s webpage on COVID-19 for more information.

You must submit your request to travel 60 (sixty) hours ahead of your departing the provinces or for the airport. Only travelers with confirmed international flight reservations may travel from the provinces to the Buenos Aires metropolitan area 24 hours in advance of the flight. If your travel to Buenos Aires will take longer than 24 hours, please note that in your request.
