Demonstration Alert: Lusaka (Zambia), July 9

Event: The Zambian Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling that could result in demonstrations, road closures around the Supreme Court, and increased police presence throughout Lusaka.

Actions to Take:

· Avoid the area of demonstrations

· Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests; find a safe location to shelter

· Monitor local media for updates

· Be aware of your surroundings

· Keep a low profile

· Plan significant extra time to arrive at your destination
