- Simón Bolívar Monument (at the corner of La Cumparsita street and Barrios Amorín street), Montevideo, Uruguay
- U.S. Embassy Montevideo, Lauro Müller 1776, Montevideo, Uruguay
Event: A demonstration is expected to take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Simón Bolívar Monument in Montevideo, Uruguay, and moving towards the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo at Lauro Müller 1776. The protest is sponsored by the groups Coordinación por Palestina and Internacional Antifascista Uruguay, and is titled, “Anti-Imperialist Struggle Against Genocide.” The number of participants is unknown, but it is anticipated to be a peaceful protest. U.S. Government personnel are advised to avoid the areas where the demonstration is taking place.
