Media and the Metropolitan Police report planned demonstrations are expected in London on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate to violence. Do not attempt to drive or walk through a demonstration. There are also several pro and anti-immigration protests anticipated at various hotels in the Islington, Hackney, and Tower Hamlets part of London.
While these gatherings are not expected to reach the scale of previous massive protests, they may still be encountered in various locations, particularly in central London.
