Security Alert: London (UK), Controlled Detonation of Suspicious Vehicle

Westminster Police report they closed roads and carried out several controlled explosions in the vicinity of Regent and New Burlington Streets in London today, following the identification of a potentially suspicious vehicle.  Police indicate the vehicle has been determined not to be suspicious and the incident is now resolved.  The U.S. Embassy encourages U.S. citizens to follow the Metropolitan Police, Westminster Police, and City of London Police on their social media platforms to stay up to date on current security issues and advice across London.
