Event: The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has received multiple recent reports of U.S. citizens targeted in potential phishing scams. An unknown sender claiming to represent the U.S. citizen’s Ukrainian bank sends an English-language text message requesting personal information, including a social security number, and threatens to block access to the recipient’s bank account.
