Security Alert: (Kampala) Uganda, Explosion Reported June 22

Location: Kalerwe Market, Kampala, Uganda

Event: There are reports of an explosion with casualties near Kalerwe Market in Kampala on June 22, 2025 at approximately 9:20 am. Local government has closed the area for investigation.

Actions to Take:

Avoid the area surrounding Kalerwe Market near the Northern Bypass.
Avoid crowds.
Keep a low profile.
Notify friends and family of your safety.
Be aware of your surroundings.
