Fighting on the Cambodia – Thailand Border

As of July 24, the Embassy is monitoring reports of fighting, including alleged rocket and artillery fire, between Cambodian and Thai forces along the border. Due to this rapidly developing situation, U.S. citizens are advised to avoid Cambodia-Thailand border areas. U.S. citizens should follow directions from Cambodian security services and consult local government authorities for the latest information.
