Event: In light of information pointing to the likelihood of imminent attacks on government and commercial centers in the district headquarters of Palma, Cabo Delgado Province in Mozambique, the Embassy there advised American citizens in the district headquarters of Palma to consider departing the area. The risks are close to the Tanzanian border in the Mtwara region.
Location: On the Mozambican side of the border with Tanzania, in the Mtwara region.

· Remain aware of your surroundings, including local events.
· Consider departing Cabo Delgado province in Mozambique.
