Event: On April 1, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated the current Level 2 Travel Health Notice for Clade I Mpox in Central and Eastern Africa to include Tanzania.

Actions to Take:

Review the CDC Level 2 Travel Health Notice for Clade I Mpox in Central and Eastern Africa .
Learn more about how mpox spreads and how you can reduce your risk of mpox , including getting vaccinated if you’re eligible.
Check with your travel insurance provider for options should you fall ill while in Tanzania.
