Location: Eastern and Southern Taiwan

Event: Typhoon Krathon is currently forecast to impact Taiwan. Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA) expects the typhoon to make landfall in the coming days. The typhoon poses risks of potential damage from both high winds and torrential downpours.  Expect heavy rainfall, high winds, dangerous storm tides, and possible flooding to occur.

• Monitor the local news for updates.
• Seek secure shelter.
• Visit the Joint Typhoon Warning Center Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) (navy.mil)  and Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA)  for updated typhoon tracking information.
