Event: Typhoon Fung-Wong is currently forecast to impact Taiwan. According to projections by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA), the typhoon will make landfall on Wednesday, November 12. The typhoon poses risks of potential damage from both high winds and torrential downpours. Expect heavy rainfall, high winds, dangerous storm tides, and possible flooding to occur.
If the Kaohsiung City Government announces a typhoon day on November 12, 2025, the AIT Kaohsiung office will be closed on that day. Please visit the Taiwan Government’s Work & Class Status During Natural Disasters Webpage before you visit AIT Kaohsiung.
