Demonstration Alert: U.S. Embassy Stockholm, Sweden (24 March 2023)
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Event: A demonstration march is scheduled to take place in the neighborhood around the U.S. Embassy in the afternoon on Friday, March 24, 2023. Demonstrators plan to begin their march at Parliament, walking to the U.S. Embassy, located at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 31, by way of Hamngatan and Strandvägen. Expect traffic disruptions in the area. Demonstrations have the potential to spark counterdemonstrations and protests. As a general precaution, we remind all citizens to remain vigilant if near protests and demonstrations, as these events can be unpredictable and have the potential to turn violent.
Locations for Demonstration Planned for Friday, March 24, 2023:
· Beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Parliament, located at Riksgatan 1, traveling primarily via Strandvägen, and ending at the U.S. Embassy at approximately 3:00 p.m.. There may be traffic disruptions in the area during this time.

· Avoid all areas where demonstrations are expected.
· Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
