Event: A demonstration will take place outside of the U.S. Consulate in Johannesburg on Friday, October 10, from 10:00 – 13:00. Due to the demonstration, additional police presence and traffic delays may occur in the vicinity. Even events intended to be peaceful can become violent.
Actions to Take:
· Be aware of your surroundings.
· Avoid all demonstrations and protests.
· Monitor local media.
· Follow the instructions of local authorities.
