Local authorities have informed the Embassy that at approximately 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5, public demonstrations will take place in the area of Piata Victoriei in central Bucharest.
U.S. citizens are advised to avoid these areas during these times. It is expected that normal pedestrian and vehicular traffic in these areas could be affected.

- Be aware of your surroundings.
