Location: Largo do Intendente and Martim Moniz Square area
Event: Media reporting indicates that there are two demonstrations planned for downtown Lisbon on Saturday, February 3:
- 4:00pm in the Largo do Intendente area, which is being billed as an ‘anti-racist collective gathering.’
- 6:00pm in the area around Martim Moniz Square, which is being organized by the Partido Nacional Renovador (PNR) and will demonstrate “Against the Islamization of Europe.”
There is a potential for conflict between these two different groups and for other counter-protests in the area.
