Event:  All ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula products have been recalled.  

There has been a complete recall of ByHeart brand infant formula in the United States due to concerns about a large outbreak of infant botulism.  Do not use recalled ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula.

Customer information provided by Amazon shows that a limited quantity of recalled ByHeart infant formula was distributed to the Philippines.

Actions to Take: 

  • The warning also extends to consumers outside the United States who may have bought the product online.  Be vigilant for any products that may have entered the country through unofficial channels.
  • Visit the FDA Philippines  for approved products and advisories on other products.
  • Visit CDC  Travelers Health Page.
  • Consult the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for country health advisories or call CDC  at 800-232-4636 or 404-639-3534.
