Event: Potential for increased crime during the holiday season
As crowds gather at holiday markets, shopping malls, and other public spaces, the U.S. Embassy reminds U.S. citizens to be aware of their surroundings as pickpocketing and other petty crime may increase.
Actions to Take:
· Exercise additional vigilance at holiday festivals and events, places of worship, and locations with large crowds.
· Do not leave anything of value in your car.
· Be aware of your surroundings.
· Keep a low profile.
