Event:  In light of the consistent and heightened interest in attacking Israeli or Jewish targets in Europe, the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia advises all American travelers to North Macedonia to adhere to the guidance disseminated in the Department of State Worldwide Caution from October 20, 2023.

  • Stay alert in locations frequented by tourists.
  • Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive information and alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency overseas.
  • Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter and visit travel.state.gov.
