Demonstration Alert: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Pro-Palestine Protest Expected August 17

Location: U.S. Consulate General Amsterdam

Event: The City of Amsterdam has confirmed a pro-Palestine protest will take place on Saturday, August 17 starting from Dam Square at 13:00 and concluding at 17:00 on the Museumplein, near the U.S. Consulate General. During this and any future planned protests, we advise you to exercise caution in the immediate area until protests conclude.

Exercise caution in the immediate area of the planned protest.

Monitor local media for updates.

Review your personal security plans.

Avoid crowds and demonstrations.

Keep a low profile.

Be aware of your surroundings.
