Event: Due to increased protest activity in Maputo, including roads leading to the Maputo International Airport, and increased protests in many towns and cities across Mozambique, Embassy Maputo recommends that U.S. citizens shelter in place through the evening.

- Be aware of your surroundings and avoid larger crowds when possible.
- Maintain a low profile and carry proper identification.
