Event: Gatherings and protests are possible on September 3, 2024 due to the planned visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin. These are expected to occur in Sukhbaatar Square, but gatherings may also occur along expected travel routes throughout the city. Please expect heightened police presence and traffic disruptions in addition to possible demonstrations.
