Demonstration Alert – U.S. Embassy Chisinau, Moldova (October 30, 2022)
Location: Downtown Chisinau
Event: A protest is underway in downtown Chisinau in the vicinity of the Tighina Street and Stefan cel Mare intersection with increased police presence and road closures in the area. Even peaceful demonstrations can turn dangerous at any time. U.S. citizens are encouraged to avoid the area.

- Avoid the area of the demonstration
- Exercise caution in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests
- Monitor local media for updates
- Expect traffic delays and road closures
- Keep a low profile
