Event: A demonstration is scheduled on Friday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m. near the U.S. Embassy, in front of the Menara See Hoy Chan building. U.S. citizens should monitor local media for updates. Currently, the U.S. Embassy does not anticipate an interruption to routine services, though traffic near the Embassy will likely be disrupted, and a police presence is expected.
Beginning at 12:00 p.m. on June 20, 2025, the U.S. Embassy front entrance will be closed to all pedestrian traffic until the completion of the demonstration.
