Location: Vicinity of Bukit Bintang and Kuala Lumpur City Center

Event:  A large demonstration is scheduled to start on Saturday, September 6, at 5:00 p.m., with groups expecting to gather at Bukit Bintang McDonald’s and march toward Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC).

We advise all to avoid these areas between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. as large groups may gather and a police presence is expected.

• Avoid areas where demonstrators have gathered.
• Monitor local media for updates.
• Avoid crowds.
• Avoid demonstrations.
• Be aware of your surroundings.
