Demonstration Alert: Luxembourg City (Luxembourg), Protest Expected at U.S. Embassy on February 3 

Location:

In front of the U.S. Embassy - 22 Boulevard Emmanuel Servais in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg 

 

Events:   

A sit-in protest in front of the U.S. Embassy is expected to take place this Saturday, February 3 at 2:30 p.m. The sit-in related to the Israel-Hamas conflict is expected to end no later than 3:30 p.m. 

 

U.S. citizens are advised to avoid the area and exercise caution in the vicinity.


Local police will be present to monitor the demonstration. Historically in Luxembourg, gatherings of this type have been peaceful and orderly; however, demonstrations can quickly become unpredictable. 

 

Similar protests may continue on a regular basis. Please continue to exercise caution and avoid the area of any demonstrations.

·     Exercise caution if in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests

·     Monitor local media for updates

·     Keep a low profile
