Security Alert – U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia (August 23, 2022)

Location: Monrovia, Liberia

Event: The U.S. Embassy has received reports of crowds gathering at the Liberty Party Headquarters on Tubman Blvd and 19th Street in Sinkor. The initial numbers are around 75 people, with possible additional busses bringing more participants. There are no reports of unrest currently.

Actions to Take:

Review your personal security plans.
Be aware of your surroundings.
Avoid the area if possible.
