Security Alert – U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo (November 11, 2023)
Location: Fadil Vokrri Football Stadium, Pristina, Kosovo
Event: Consistent with the State Department’s October 20 Worldwide Caution and noting the upcoming Israel vs. Kosovo soccer match in Pristina on Sunday, November 12 at 8:45 p.m., the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo recommends U.S. citizens avoid the area around Fadil Vokrri Stadium on that date. Embassy personnel have been advised to avoid the area around Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina on November 12.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid the Fadil Vokrri Stadium and the immediate surrounding area, prior to, during, and immediately following Sunday’s game.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Adhere to the guidance disseminated in the Department of State Worldwide Caution from October 20, 2023.
