Location:  TANNERIE – AEROPORT – GBESSIA – HAMDALLAYE – BELLE VUE-STADE DU 28 SEPTEMBRE, Conakry, Guinea

Event:  Due to planned demonstrations on July 30 through August 1, 2024, the U.S. Embassy anticipates periodic disruptions and pop-up demonstrations throughout the greater Conakry area.  Consular operations will remain open and available, but visa applicants and U.S. citizens with appointments should take all precautions for their own safety.

Actions to Take:

• Avoid demonstrations and crowds.
• Seek secure shelter.
• Notify friends and family of your safety.
• Monitor local media for breaking events and be prepared to adjust your plans.
