Security Alert: Paris (France), Red Cross Contact for Those Affected by the Gas Explosion

Location:  Paris, 5th arrondissement

 

Event: French authorities have advised individuals affected by the gas explosion on rue Saint-Jacques in Paris to contact the Red Cross station "Croix Rouge et la Protection Civile” at 88 boulevard du Port Royal.  U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance can contact the U.S. Embassy duty officer at 01 43 12 22 22. 

 

Actions to Take:

·     Avoid the area

·     If you cannot return home, contact the Red Cross

·     Monitor local media for updates

·     Notify friends, family, and school officials of your safety
