Weather Alert: Tonga, Tropical Depression 03F approaching Vava’u Group

The Tonga Meteorological Service advises that Tropical Depression 03F is approaching the Vava’u islands. The storm, which is forecast to become a cyclone, will bring heavy rain and strong winds to affected areas later today and tomorrow.

Actions to take:

Monitor local media and weather forecasts. Be aware that forecast storm paths can change.
Follow directions of local officials.
Do not walk or drive across flooded areas.
