On March 12 the Estonian Government established an emergency situation in connection to COVID-19 across Estonia. Up to date information can be found on the Estonian Health Board’s English-language page.
The Estonian government has implemented additional control measures nationwide. Beginning on March 16, primary schools, high-schools, and universities will be closed and go to distance learning. Kindergartens may remain open based on local-government decisions. All public gatherings are prohibited until May 1, including sports competitions, performances, concerts, and conferences. These measures will be re-assessed every two weeks.
