Demonstration Alert: Tallinn (Estonia), Flash Mob Protest Planned March 4 Evening

Location: Announced gathering points include, but are not limited to, the Ülemiste Centre 

in Tallinn, Estonia.

 

Event: The Facebook group ‘Maskide, QR Koodide, Immuunpasside ja Kiipide Vaba Ning Eluterve Eesti’ (Free and healthy Estonia without masks, QR codes, smart passports and chips) is planning a flash mob protest this evening, Thursday, March 4th, beginning at 18:30.  The group plans to gather at the Ülemiste Centre entrances and enter the center together unmasked.

 

Even demonstrations or gatherings intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence.  You should exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations. 

 

Actions to Take:

  • Avoid Ülemiste Centre on the evening of Thursday, March 4th between 18:00 and 19:00.
  • Monitor local media for updates.
  • Avoid crowds.
  • Avoid demonstrations.
  • Be aware of your surroundings.
  • Keep a low profile.
