The Government of Equatorial Guinea (EG) has announced that it will close EG’s airspace during elections on November 20. The airspace will be closed from midnight on Saturday, November 19 through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21 (30 hours in total). Please adjust your travel plans accordingly. The U.S. Embassy will send additional information if the airspace closure is extended beyond 6:00 a.m. on November 21. Equatorial Guinea’s land borders remain closed until further notice.
