Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
Event: The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) will hold national elections on December 20, 2023. The DRC has announced that borders will be closed all day. U.S. citizens are encouraged to limit their movements, avoid large gatherings, and to have adequate supplies of food and water in their residences.
