Beginning December 23, 2020, Chinese authorities have increased the screening requirements for passengers seeking to enter China from the United States, including pre-flight testing and the use of specified testing laboratories. The government of PRC continues to implement enhanced screening, quarantine, and preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Travelers should be prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice. Also, please be aware you may be subject to quarantine in China for an undetermined period of time. U.S. citizens in areas designated as medium-risk and high-risk for COVID-19 may be subject to intensive prevention and control measures, which could include mass testing, closures, transportation disruptions, lockdowns, or other measures.
