Security Alert: Bujumbura (Burundi), Reports of Explosions in Bujumbura, Sheltering in Place Advised

Location: Bujumbura

Event: Due to multiple reports of explosions in Bujumbura, the U.S. Embassy is ordering its personnel to shelter in place until further notice. Private U.S. citizens are advised to take similar precautions and monitor local media.
