Event 2: Saturday, January 13 at approximately 14:00 (2:00 PM). Around 30 participants are expected to gather in front of the U.S. Embassy in protest of the anniversary of allied forces activity in Sofia during World War II.
The U.S. Embassy is located in Lozenets at Kozyak Str. 16 in Sofia.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid areas of demonstrations.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly found in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Keep a low profile.
U.S. Citizens in trouble are advised to call the police (112), seek a safe location, and wait for assistance.
