Location:  Wildey Main Road near U.S. Embassy, Bridgetown

Event: The U.S. Embassy is aware of a planned demonstration to be held on Wildey Road, near the Embassy on Saturday, May 31, at 10am. The Embassy is closed for regular business on the weekends. While the demonstration is expected to be peaceful, Barbados Police are expected to be present for the duration of the protest. Historically, protesters have gathered on the sidewalks along Wildey Road, approximately 380 feet west of the Embassy’s main entrance.

Actions to Take:

  • Avoid the areas of the demonstrations.
