The Embassy is aware of reports of individuals blocking roadways and throwing objects at vehicles near the Congolenses Market in the Kilamba Kiaxi neighborhood, as well as other areas in the southern part of the city. Additionally, Samba Road and Rua 21 de Janeiro (21st January Street) are experiencing road closures, limiting access to areas south of the city. Please exercise caution and avoid these locations.
Actions to Take:
· Avoid the areas of the Congolenses Market, Kilamba Kiaxi neighborhood in the southern part of the city, Samba Road, Rua 21 de Janeiro (21st January Street).
· Avoid crowds
· Be aware of your surroundings
