Following an armed robbery of a U.S. citizen pedestrian in Luanda, OSAC is reissuing this report on pedestrian security in Angola's capital city. Luanda has a critical crime environment. In an effort to help OSAC constituents maintain safety for their personnel in Luanda commensurate with that required for government employees, the Regional Security Office at U.S. Embassy Luanda has shared its recommendations for pedestrian security, including demarcations of which areas of the capital require higher vigilance.
