Event: The Pernambuco Water and Climate Agency issued an alert related to heavy rainfall and flooding throughout the state today and tomorrow.

Actions to Take:

• Monitor the local news for updates.
• Visit the Pernambuco Water and Climate Agency (APAC) Instagram page  for updated rainfall information.
• Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters.
• Move to higher ground or higher floors to avoid rising waters.
• Contact police or other authorities if you encounter dangerous conditions and follow warnings and directions provided. If you have an emergency, call 190.
• Notify friends and family of your safety.
