Location:  Various regions and coastlines in Spain

Event: The Spanish Meteorological Agency (Agencia Estatal de Meteorología, AEMET) issued special alerts for strong winds, snow, heavy rain, and rough seas in various locations in Spain on January 28 and 29, 2026.

Actions to Take:

  • Follow instructions provided by local authorities.
  • Avoid coastal areas and flood zones.
  • Avoid driving or walking through flooded or snow-covered/icy streets.
  • Monitor local media for updates and travel disruptions.
