Health Alert: Nicaragua, Border Closure Updates.

Message for U.S. Citizens: 

 

Status of Land Borders (May 14, 2020)

 

 

Location:Nicaragua

   

Event: The Costa Rican government has announced the closure of its border until at least June 15.  The Honduran border remains closed until further notice.

 

Visit Ready.gov for tips to prepare yourselves and your family in the event of an emergency.  U.S. citizens remaining in Nicaragua should ensure they have an adequate supply of food, water, and medicine.

 

In the event of any potential future repatriation flight, any U.S. citizens wishing to be included on a list of passengers must fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=dFDPZv5a0UimkaErISH0Sz1tIkltlEdBprPmu1U9pNRUQ01XUDJGN1FSOEk4U1paMUpTNVhPODY3RC4u  

 

You should fill out one form per passenger.  If you have already filled out the form registering your interest, you do not need to do so again.  If you are unable to fill out the form, please email ACSManagua@state.gov
