Demonstration Alert: Australia, Planned Demonstration at Consulate in Sydney on January 30, 2026

Event: The U.S. Consulate General is aware of a demonstration planned for January 30, 2026 at 12.00pm at the Consulate. U.S. citizens in the area of the Consulate in North Sydney should remain vigilant of their surroundings and practice sound personal security and situational awareness. There will be a NSW Police and Australian Federal Police (AFP) presence to monitor and ensure safety.
