Event: On December 14, two explosions occurred at the Camilo Daza Airport in Cucuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia.
According to local authorities, a terrorist was killed in the first explosion, and two police officers were killed in the second explosion.
The airport has temporarily suspended operations.
The U.S. Department of State advises citizens not to travel to the Norte de Santander department due to crime and terrorism. Violent crime, including armed robbery and homicide, is widespread. Terrorist groups are active in this area.
