Demonstration Alert – U.S. Embassy Podgorica, Montenegro

Event: Demonstrations outside of the Montenegrin Parliament on St. Petar Cetinjski Bulevar are expected to take place on a daily basis between 4pm and 5pm on business days starting on February 9.  These demonstrations are led by the residents of Zagorič Forest Park in relation to home construction in Zlatica. This is expected to cause traffic delays near the Parliament and surrounding areas.

Actions to Take:

·       Avoid the area surrounding the Parliament building on St. Petar Cetinjski Bulevar.

·       Plan for additional travel time and/or research alternative routes.

·       Be aware of your surroundings.
