Event: Cochabamba U.S. Passport Event
The U.S. Embassy in Bolivia is holding a U.S. passport acceptance event for U.S. citizens to apply for passport services in Cochabamba. Minor and adult applicants can apply. The embassy will not be accepting applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA) nor notarial services.
Representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Office (Social Security) will also be in Cochabamba at the Centro Boliviano Americano on these dates. For more information, click here.
To schedule an appointment during the passport acceptance event, applicants over the age of 18 must write an email titled “Cochabamba Passport Event” to ConsularLaPazACS@state.gov indicating:
- the passport applicant’s full name.
- the applicant’s date and place of birth.
- a reliable Bolivian phone number.
If the passport applicant is a minor (under the age of 18), write an email titled “Cochabamba Passport Event” to ConsularLaPazACS@state.gov indicating:
- the minor passport applicant’s full name.
- the minor applicant’s date and place of birth.
- the full names of the minor’s accompanying parents who will attend the event.
- a reliable Bolivian phone number.
Prospective applicants must bring original documents to verify U.S. citizenship and identity as well as pay for the passport service before the event.
