Message for U.S. Citizens: Weather Alert – Flood Alerts in Andalucía on February 4, 2026 

Location: Andalucía, Spain 

Event: The Spanish Meteorological Agency (Agencia Estatal de Meteorología, AEMET) issued a red alert for areas of Andalucía, including Cádiz and Málaga, for heavy rain, strong winds, potential flooding, and rough seas on February 4, 2026.    

Actions to Take:    

  • Follow instructions provided by local authorities. 
  • Avoid coastal areas and flood zones. 
  • Monitor local media for updates and travel disruptions.
