Security Alert: Yarralumla, Australia, Ongoing Protest Activity Around Hyatt Hotel

Location: Yarralumla, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Event: This message draws attention to ongoing protest activity around the Hyatt hotel (120 Commonwealth Ave, Yarralumla). There are reports of a suspicious package. U.S. citizens in the ACT should avoid the area of the Hyatt hotel until further notice. Australian Federal Police (AFP) are on site to monitor the situation.

Actions to Take:

Exercise caution if you are in that area.
If you see anything suspicious, leave the area and alert police by calling “000”.
Monitor local media for updates.
